Repair vs. Replace
Signs It's Time to Replace Your AC System
Not every AC problem requires a full replacement. But when the math stops making sense, a new high-efficiency HVAC system installation saves you money in the long run and eliminates the stress of recurring breakdowns.
- System is 10+ years old and needing frequent repairs
- Repair cost exceeds 50% of replacement value
- Energy bills climbing despite regular maintenance
- Home has uneven temperatures or humidity issues
- System uses R-22 refrigerant (phased out)
- Compressor has failed or is failing
