What started as Bedard’s A/C in a Santa Fe shop is now a licensed AC, plumbing, electrical and roofing contractor serving sixteen cities across Galveston, Harris and Brazoria counties.
In 1976 this was Bedard’s A/C — one trade, one town, and a shop on a stretch of the Gulf Coast where air conditioning has never been optional. Fifty years later the name has changed and there are a great many more vans, but the address has not moved and the business is still in the family.
The expansion was deliberate rather than opportunistic. In 2021 we brought air conditioning, plumbing and electrical together under one licensed company. In 2026 we added roofing. Each step happened because customers kept asking the same question in slightly different words: can you just handle it?
That is the whole idea behind the name. One call, every system, and one company that answers for the work — instead of three contractors, three invoices, and three days spent waiting for somebody else to show up.
Four moments that turned a single-trade air conditioning shop into a four-trade contractor covering most of Galveston County.
The business starts in Santa Fe as a single-trade air conditioning company serving the towns along the bay.
AC, plumbing and electrical are brought together under one licensed company, so a single call can cover the whole house.
Roofing joins the lineup, closing the gap between the systems inside the house and the one protecting all of them.
Four licensed trades across Galveston, Harris and Brazoria counties, still run out of the same Santa Fe shop.
The reasons people give when we ask why they called us instead of somebody else.
AC, plumbing, electrical and roofing under one licensed company. No coordinating three contractors who each blame the other two.
TACLA914 for HVAC, RMP43535 for plumbing, TECL34051 for electrical. Every one verifiable with the state, and we would rather you checked.
Same family, same town, same shop on FM 646. Fifty years is long enough that a reputation is not something you can outrun.
Burst lines, dead panels and failed compressors rarely pick a convenient moment. We are open seven days a week, weekends and holidays included.
Trane Authorized Dealer and Heil Elite Dealer for HVAC, Generac for standby generators, GAF and Owens Corning certified for roofing and insulation.
A written quote before work starts, every time. Estimates are free, including roof inspections after a storm.
A contractor offering four trades ought to be able to prove it four times over. We hold TACLA914 for air conditioning and heating, RMP43535 for plumbing, and TECL34051 for electrical — each one held by this company rather than borrowed from a subcontractor.
On the manufacturer side we are a Trane Authorized Dealer and a Heil Elite Dealer for HVAC, a Generac authorized dealer for whole-home standby generators, and GAF and Owens Corning certified for roofing and insulation.
Those certifications are not decoration. They decide which warranties we can register on your equipment, how quickly we can get parts, and whether a manufacturer will still stand behind a repair years after the install.
